   Welcome! I would like to share an accumulation of more than 45 years of work that became my career and passion - designing and building outdoor residential projects. As a way to bring outdoor surroundings inside the home, I have used some of the same materials and techniques to also create useful furnishings for the indoors.
    I attribute the early interest in my work to growing up next to Kingwood Center in Mansfield, Ohio. www.kingwoodcenter.org. 
   Working at Kingwood Center became my first part-time job at the age of 14, taking care of the animals, ducks and birds. I had the opportunity for several years to work on the grounds, being influenced by the estate's architecture, the arbors, brick and stone walls and walkways, sculpture and water features, including a large duck pond and several fountains.   
  Now living in Westerville, Ohio,  I have a home site and work-space with a woods and a creek - a great place for my Lab/Golden, Anna.. I want to give a special thanks to Carlie, my youngest daughter, who made this web site a reality.
